During the school year, Awana Clubs meet at the church every Wednesday evening. Participants are divided according to age and grade.  Each "club" is served by a dedicated Awana Leader, as well as volunteer helpers.  The evening is composed of Opening Circle time, Games, Small & Large Group Lesson times which are age appropriate lessons.  Awana's Club are a time proven, world wide ministry to kids.  Riverview Alliance Church has been offering Awana Clubs for over 15 years. The clubs are a central focus of our ministry to children.

Contact Pastor Kuhn with any questions you have, or stop in and observe.  We know you will be pleased with the careful organization and quality of our program.

Clubs Available at Riverview:

Cubbies
(4 & 5 yr olds)

Our preschool program offers lots of fun! Games, puppets, crafts, awards, snacks and other activities
make Cubbies a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

The Cubbies curriculum features two handbooks written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers.
The handbooks contain 24 Bear Hug sections along with six optional special-day sections.
Each section combines basic Scripture memory with parent-child activities
to help a child grasp a simple biblical truth.

Sparks
(5K-1st-2nd grades)

Sparks meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement.
Club meetings are divided into three segments:

1. Bible teaching, singing, announcements and awards

2. Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons

3. Games that appeal to kids of all skill levels

Truth & Training
(3rd to 6th grade)

Evangelism and discipleship go hand in hand in our third- through sixth-grade program.
Our program includes:

Four handbooks of increasing difficulty which teach children that life’s
ultimate adventure is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

A cast of fun characters that boys and girls learn from and follow
on interesting journeys in the handbooks

A Bible-centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith,
hide God’s Word in their heart and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives
